About me...

Jenn Campbell artist headshot smiling – artist and children's author

Hi, I’m Jenn — an acrylic artist, children’s book author, and illustrator based in Rochester, New Hampshire. My creative work is inspired by nature, curiosity, wide open skies, changing landscapes, and a desire to preserve the beauty of a place through art.

Growing up in a military family, I spent much of my childhood moving between states and countries, traveling long roads, camping, and exploring new places. Those experiences gave me a lasting curiosity about the world around me and still influence much of what I create today.

In my Rochester studio, I create original acrylic paintings inspired by whatever captures my imagination — northern skies, quiet forests, oceans, wildlife, unusual places, and sometimes simply an idea I can’t stop thinking about. When I paint, I want to create more than a picture. I want it to feel like an experience — something that lets you imagine the cold air beneath the northern lights, the breeze moving through palm trees, or what it might feel like to actually be in that place.

I’m also a children’s book author and illustrator. My books turn that same curiosity toward nature, animals, science, and exploration, creating colorful adventures that encourage kids to discover more about the world around them.

Thank you for visiting my studio and supporting independent art.
